The Ribbon


The Ribbon
The ribbon provides you with information on various attributes of an object or text. It also provides you with an easy way to change these attributes. Ribbon has six different states.
No object selected. The ribbon displays the ribbon corresponding to the currently selected Tool. If the currently selected tool is ARROW Tool or the IBEAM Tool, then the ribbon appears blank. Otherwise in this mode, the ribbon is in object Creation mode and you can just enter the coordinates of the object to construct an object corresponding to the selected tool.
One or more objects selected. Then Object Attributes Ribbon appears. The ribbon displays the object attributes of the selected object.
More than one object selected. The ribbon shows the (X,Y) position of the left and top corner of the selected objects' outer bound.
Text Edit Mode. Then Text Edit Ribbon appears.The ribbon displays the text attributes of text at caret point.
Picture Edit Mode. Picture Edit Ribbon is displayed. This ribbon displays the origin and scaling attributes of the selected picture.
Tabs and Indents Mode. Then Tab Ribbon appears.
Object Paste Ribbon.Then Paste Ribbon appears. This Ribbon Enables you to place the copied objects and paste at specific point on the page.
